It is so amazing to hear how many people are calling Printing and Mailing Services old school. Every where I turn, people are acting like direct mail is dying. Well I’m here to tell you the opposite is true. It’s becoming more and more alive. Because I see less mail in my mail box than ever, areas that were once so saturated that nothing was making an impact are now ripe for the picking.
And with that said, Direct Mail Advertising is starting to stand out even more. We have learned that if you put together a positive Direct Mail Strategy, direct mail marketing will work almost every time. Like all advertising; nothing is full proof but we have time tested methods. Most of our Direct Mail Campaigns have come out on the better end than not. This is an article written by David Frey, Frey Marketing Best Practices that shows 8 reasons why Direct Mail Advertising is powerful and we whole heartily agree. Here are the reasons he states:
Reason # 1: It works when you're not Like the old saying goes, "In rain, sleet, or snow" the mail arrives. Whether you're sleeping, vacationing, working, or walking, your direct mail advertising is working for you. It gives your best sales presentation over and over again without you having to be present.
Reason # 2: It leverages your efforts
Do you want to know how to waste your time? Give your best sales presentation to one person at a time. If you do this, you'll only sell one widget at a time. Send out thousands of letters and your best sales pitch is being presented to thousands of people simultaneously. That's called "leverage!"
Reason # 3: Allows you to target with precision

Political Mail- 11 x 17 Bi-fold; 100lb paper 4/4 Mailer
We organized, printed, and mailed to a saturation list surrounding this particular candidate’s district. We targeted 33,000 people and sent out a total of 99K pieces. We hit the same people three different times prior to Election Day. Results- Candidate was elected into public office.
Automotive Mail
We represented an Automotive Staffed Event Company and they wanted to do an eight page bi-fold self mailer with a black key taped to the outside. The client did 40K pieces of mail to a saturation area with zip demographics. On those 40,000 pieces, they had 800 people show up to the dealership and over $150K in gross profits.
Health Care Provider
Client was a state run Health care provider. They wanted to get the awareness out on getting the H1N1 Vaccine shot. Client did 30K 6 x 9 four color over four color postcards to a saturation list. The results were increased production by 60%.
